    RECYCLED MATERIALS

    We've made it a priority to create products that use recycled materials.

    Products like our SanDisk Ultra Eco-USB incorporates recycled plastic. We also have products that incorporate recycled aluminum like our SanDisk Extreme Pro Portable SSD.

    Over 30% Renewable Energy

    We are always exploring and innovating new ways to reduce power consumption. In addition to installing rooftop solar on our manufacturing operations, we purchase renewable energy through a virtual power purchase agreement in Malaysia, and reduce demand load through numerous energy efficiency initiatives inside our operations worldwide.

    Transparency

    We are committed to sharing our policies, performance, and challenges to aid understanding of our commitments, how and what we’re doing, and where we are headed.

    We share information about our supplier engagement initiatives, conducted in partnership with the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) and in 2026 we will publish our first Sustainability Report, CDP Climate Change and Water Security disclosures.

    PROTECTING OUR PLANET

    Thinking Globally, Acting Locally

    Over the last 5 years, Sandisk has supported environmental causes around the globe. Over 4,400 employees have engaged in more than 100 volunteer events, including cleaning up beaches along the coast of California, helping release baby sea turtles on the beaches of Malaysia, beautifying urban spaces near our offices in India.
