FSS Notification Registration
In accordance with the notification requirements stipulated in item 12 of Annex № 4 to the Statute “On importation and exportation of encryption (cryptographic) items implemented in the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union”. Western Digital Technologies, Inc. hereby publishes the following information:
a) We confirm that the products stated under the links below will be generally available to the public by being sold, without restriction, from stock at retail selling points by means of any of the following:
- Over-the-counter transactions;
- Mail order transactions;
- Electronic transactions;
- Telephone call transactions.
b) We confirm that the encryption (cryptographic functionality) of the products stated under the links below cannot be easily modified by the user.
c) We confirm that the products stated under the links below are designed for installation by the user and can be used without further substantial support of the supplier.
d) Technical documentation for the products stated under the links below is accessible and will be provided by the manufacturer or its authorized agent, upon request, to the appropriate coordinating authority in the importer's country in order to ascertain compliance with conditions described in item 12 of Annex № 4 to the Statute “On importation and exportation of encryption (cryptographic) items implemented in the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union”.
